NACC

Ace 157

Diamond is a pit bull that was used for breeding and mistreated by her owner who had been in jail for domestic violence. Diamond was surrendered along with 12 puppies who were too young to be separated from their mother. She was shy, sad, yet trusting of the humans caring for her. Over time, she began to blossom and wag her tail at people. She was adopted into a family sensitive to her circumstances willing to be gentle and patient with her.

A dog like this one can be difficult to place… Anyone can “rescue” a puppy – we did – but it takes a truly compassionate family to invite in a new member like this one. To this and similar families, thank you.
