Jake Roos, Kennel Supervisor, holds a degree in biochemistry, but found his niche after rescuing animals in New Orleans after Katrina. Soon after he landed a job here in Norfolk at the SPCA. He has received extensive training in dog behavioral assessment and modification, using his skills to make dogs more adoptable. Clive is a pit bull who especially won Jake’s heart with his endurance, perseverance and intelligence. Clive was adopted.
