The show gave me this aura, reminecent of my youth...piled into the bands station wagon flying down a country road, wind in our faces,music blasting, Alejandro and crew at the wheel,our lives wrapped precariously in the sweet balance and tight command of their music. When he'd do that stop start bong bong I felt like he was slamming/pumping the brakes making us all smash into eachother. And when he'd do old fashioned arm circles it was like he was peeling doughnuts in the dirt. As you can tell I'm still giddy. The evening was exhilerating. Pure good vibes. The icing on the cake was hanging out after the show- I had to tell him Down in the Bowry made me cry-I have a 17 year old kid too. Thank you Alejandro. I love my hoodie and Real Animal has been playing nonstop. My kids laugh at my passion, magnifying glass in hand to read the liricks.
