Thrifty V-Day Style

Feb Thrift Store Fashion Show1 photographer + 3 models x $30 each = This kick-ass photo shoot, featuring Valentine’s Day-inspired fashions, all from area thrift shops.

The models, Jaime Krapf (pictured at right), Lacy Kuller and Jason Kuller, were given these three directives:

#1: Top spending limit: $30
#2: Must shop at a thrift store
#3: Bring your own shoes, underthings, and bling-bling

The rest was up to them. Their haul:

Jamie: Shopped at Goodwill (600 S. Lynnhaven Rd, Virginia Beach), spent a total of $26.96, and came back with:
Little Black Dress, Wrap Dress, Jeans, Purple Top, Jeans, Tank Top, Blue Jean Skirt

Lacy: Spent $7.83 at Greenbrier Salvation Army (901 Eden Way N, Chesapeake), and $24.57 at CHKD Thrift Store (220 Battlefield North, Chesapeake) and came back with:
Red Top, Black Pencil Skirt, Chinese Top, Red Jean Skirt, Orange Flowered Top, Brown Linen Skirt

Jason: Shopped at CHKD in Chesapeake, as well. Here’s what he bought with $25.15:
Blue Strip Button Down, Gray Dress Pants, Green Button Down, Tan Cords

Photographer Jessica Riehl captured the romantic styles, all perfect for a V-Day date, in her studio.
