Short Film: Chaz and Jones

Here it is, Idyl King Entertainment’s follow up to the Sea of Trees. After winning the 48 Hour Film Project ‘Best of City’ for Hampton Roads, Idyl King Entertainment was selected as one of the five top teams in the country to compete in the annual Panasonic HD showdown.
The Five Teams:

Wax Idiotical Films: Providence (Based out of Boston)
The 48 Hour Film Project and their partners at Panasonic loaned them each a High Definition Camera that utilizes their P2 technology. The five teams then competed in another 48 hour showdown the weekend of Febuary 5-7 using the loaned camera. This year, Idyl King was able to collaborate with some local talent that they met at the previous 48 Hour Film competition and give Hampton Roads two chances to screen at the largest Film Technologies Convention in the United States.
The winning film will screen at the Filmapalooza Film Festival at NAB in Las Vegas April 10-12 along with all the other city winners, including The Sea of Trees.
This is the film that was created with the given camera and elements. Written, produced, filmed, edited, scored and mastered in 48 hours between 7 pm on Friday, February 5 and 7 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
It centers around two hitmen on April Fool’s Day.
