The roots and hope of the 757.
some kids play foot ball,
some kids do well in highschool,
some kids play hide and seek
some kids go to dances
some kids dress casual
some kids go to college
some kids make out at the movies
some kids dont know who charlie chaplin is
some kids consider cool to be an appetizer
some kids grow into the sky
so m e ki d s shop at thrift stores
so m e ki d s get laughter out of seriousness
so m e ki d s watch out for foul words of play
so m e ki d s hate dances
so m e ki d s recite poetry to invisible gardeners
so m e ki d s are us, these kids are me, those kids are you, all of us will grow,
and will never forget where we came from.
