Friday Featured Artist(s): “Love Looks Better in the Morning”

The show runs Jan. 27-Feb. 17, 2011 at the Selden Gallery.

If you missed the opening of “Love Looks Better in the Morning: 8 Under-Shown Artists in Hampton Roads” last night at the Selden Gallery you missed out indeed. There was a floor rug that doubled as an art piece, live eclectic music provided by LoLa, and wine! But never fear, you can still view the artwork; the show will be up and available to the public until February 17, 2011. There won’t be any more free wine though. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Selden Arcade at the Plume St. end of the building. The show, curated by AltDaily, features eight local artists whose work is a breath of fresh air foretelling great things to come. The artists featured include:

Nichole Ashikis
Jeff Guinn
Kelly Herring
Liquidmethod (Doug Clarke)
Richard Perkins
Tim Skirven
Stuntkid (Jason Levesque)
Sam Vanagas
