How did you discover printmaking and teaching as your calling?

I took my first printmaking class in the Art Department at Old Dominion University as an undergraduate. I was deeply engaged by the process and enjoyed the community atmosphere that the Print Studio at ODU provided. I became the “shop assistant” and helped maintain the facilities in the Print Studio and also began to assist Professor Ken Daley with his printmaking classes. This naturally led to teaching drawing and printmaking courses in the Joint Master of Fine Arts Graduate Program at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University. Upon graduation I continued to teach printmaking, drawing and painting courses in the Art Department at ODU.
