Susan Sarandon is still hittable in a way I’m not really comfortable with myself for enjoying.
dammit, brendan, i thought we went over this whole “guilty pleasure” thing before.
don’t be guilty, don’t be uncomfortable. go ahead and embrace susan sarandon’s rapturous essence along with ewan mcgregor’s flapping cock in “velvet goldmine”.
i do, however, believe sarandon must be some genetic monstrosity. think about this: it is now 20 years or so after she played the sexy “older” woman in “Bull Durham”. How could she still be sexy? I don’t know, but she is. I think her and Denueve did some crazy voodoo in 1983 when they were shooting “The Hunger” (one of the best hard-R lady on lady scenes by the way, gentlemen) that granted them a supernatural ability to be hittable well into their twilight years.
all that said, i can’t discount Patricia Clarkson. Not only was she awesome as Ruth’s reckless sister in “Six Feet Under”, but she seemed pretty great in an evil stepmother/schoolmaster villainess role in the overlooked Lucky McKee gem “The Woods”.
