So This Is Change Huh?

What’s up dudes,
So we were promised change with this new administration. We would get a break from the same old partisan politics that have shaped the last 8 years of policy. No longer would we have to deal with a government that lies to the public and that goes out of it’s way to earn the ire of the world politic. We would be dealing with an administration that would be reaching across the aisle to the “enemy” and would be handing out the olive branch of peace. Democrat and Republican working side by side. We would now be dealing with an administration that cares for the people. So let’s see how they are doing with “change”.
The congress just passed the stimulus bill yesterday. This bill that had to be rushed through and voted on so that Speaker Pelosi could get on a plane and fly off to a meeting with the Pope, and then fly to Italy so that she could accept some award. The stimulus was supposed to be posted on the internet for 48 hours so that the American public could read it. It was over 1000 pages long. It wasn’t even on the internet for 10 hours when the House of Representatives started voting. Yeah, not even 10 hours. That sounds like about 38 hours less than what was promised. That sounds like change to me.
Speaking of the “queen” Nancy Pelosi, she has on at least two different occasions stated that she didn’t care about being Bi-partisan. She held the negotiations for the bill in a closed door session which didn’t include members of the Republican party. She has told the Republicans that they had better vote for the stimulus because the Democrats won and that means that they have to do what the democrats want. Kind of like what the democrats did during the six years the republicans were the majority right? Yeah, right. (Don’t forget that the Democrats were in charge of the congress for the last two years, so when you go and blame Bush 43 for the last two year, make sure you dole out some of that blame to the democratic controlled congress also.). Yes, that some more of that wonderful change.
President Obama has nominated over a dozen former lobbyist to an administration that was going to cut back on the influence that lobbyist would have and has nominated about half a dozen tax cheats to an administration that was going to be more honest and forthright. He has had more than half a dozen of these nominees have to withdraw from the nomination process because of the scandal that their nomination has brought about. Yeah, there’s some of that delicious change that is getting served up.
President Obama has had his policies criticized by the French, The Russians, The Iranians, The Venezuelans, The Chinese, The Koreans, The Huffington Post, The New York Time, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC, The Martians, The Umpa Loompas, The X-Men, The Rolling Stones, Mad Magazine, and last but not least, The Democratic Party. You know, the party that he is in charge of? (Not really, but he is the figure head since he is the president and that is his party). He has on more than one occasion had to remind the congress that he won the November election. Almost like a parent reminding his kid who is throwing a tantrum who the parent is. That’s the way to lead. Yeah, now that’s some change that we can get behind.
I can’t believe all that change that we have had in only four weeks of the new presidency. Wow, I really didn’t think that he could have gotten all of that done in only a month. With the entire country behind him and the whole world looking at him, President Obama had not only proven himself to be a narcissist, and a spoiled brat who has to remind everyone that he was elected president, but worst of all, a liar who continues to run the country in the same way that everyone who voted for him cried about under the Bush administration. In other words, the more things have “changed, the more they have stayed the same. Yeah……change…..rrriiigggghhhhtttttt.
