Here’s a fun fact for Virginia Beach residents re: your tax dollars…

The City of Virginia Beach spent $9,000 on consulting for a 35-minute speech Mayor Will Sessoms gave last week.

The city also has a payrolled 10-person media department.

This is just nuts.

Sessoms’ logic? He told the Virginian-Pilot, “As for the costs, I don’t have an explanation for you. I was trusting media and communications.”
