What’s up dudes,

So we had to rush to pass this stimulus.  It needed to be passed because we had to get this money into the system.  People are out of work, they are losing their homes, their families are suffering.  There is no need to take the time to read the 1000 pages to find out what’s inside the package.  Just pass it.  Queen Pelosi has to go meet the pope.  So the congress passes the stimulus bill, they send it up to President Obama to sign and enact into law get the country going and………………The President decides that he needs to go to Chicago for a three day vacation and will sign the bill on Tuesday.  WTF?!?!?!?!

Are you serious?  This is what you voted for people.  This is the change that you wanted?  The fiscal 9-11 that is happening to this country, and President Obama feels that he needs to go to Chicago.  That trip is more important than getting this bill passed?  The urgency which he sold this package to the country was unprecedented.  Going from state to state, convincing the common man that this is the most important thing in the world.  We needed this stimulus to save the country, but it’s not so important that it can’t wait until after this weekend.  Till after the messiah has his little romantic getaway with his wife. 

Remember how Bush was criticized for reading to children while the towers burned?  Remember how he was criticized for going to Crawford while New Orleans flooded?  Remember how you liberals and leftist jumped at the constant inaction by the Bush administration for every emergency that happened during the passed 8 years?  Yet all Obama needed to do was to put his signature on a piece of paper and that would have gotten the ball rolling.  I guess that it really wasn’t that important was it?  Again, hypocrisy at it’s finest.   

Just to show you that my political ire isn’t only directed at the liberals in this country, it turns out that The United Nations has stated that they want a piece of the stimulus.  They feel that the United States has to step in to help stabilize the economies of other nations.  Wow.  These are the same people who don’t want us in their countries.  They sit there and talk about how the United States thinks it’s so high and mighty.  How we think that we can do what we want, and then they turn around and demand that we turn over some of the money that we have decided we need to fix OUR economy. 

How many countries have come to help the United States when tragedy has stuck?  Think about that for a minute.  How many countries offered help during 9-11 or Hurricane Katrina?  Now think about how the United States has rushed to aid countries during earthquakes, flooding, fires, famine, Aids, malaria, etc, etc, etc.  What a minute Torres, are you tell us that the United States, the evil empire actually helps people?  They actually do things that are positive for countries that provide nothing of significance?  No f’n way Torres.  They help these countries that hate them?  Why yes we do.  God forbid that the evil United States refuses to turn over that stimulus to these nations.  But Torres, what if turning over that money leads the US into a depression?  So what.  I mean, we aren’t even allowed to say that we should buy American because places like China and Japan, which thanks to our stupid import/export policies, have these countries already reaping more benefits that they should, complain about how it would unfairly affect their economies.

Can’t you guys really see what is going on here?  Wake up people.  The way things are going, you guys won’t be able to criticize the very country that you want us to become.
