Is Rush Right? I Think So

What’s up dudes,
I told you that the political blogs would be starting again and here it is. A lot has been happening lately but before I talk about how Your President Obama has out spent President Bush entire presidency in a little over a month, or that he plans on selling out the Eastern Europeans to the Russians by agreeing to not put a missile defense shield in that neck of the woods, let me speak on the issue of Rush Limbaugh and his “hate speech” in hoping that the President fails.
When it comes to hate, the left doesn’t need to look any farther than the ends of their own noses. The spectrum goes from Keith Olbermann telling President Bush to “shut the hell up” to Rachel Maddow having her piece on President Bush’s last speech titled “Goodbye, Good Riddance”. We consistently hear from shows like The View and Real Time with Bill Maher the bashing of members of the conservative side. Why should Rush be singled out?
I love to talk about the hypocrisy of the left because it is so apparent. The left does nothing to even attempt to hide this. Their spout their hate filled messages against everyone from Christians to Pro-life proponents to gun rights activist. They are for free speech until you speak out against them. They are for fiscal responsibility until it comes to helping members of their constituency. They are for rights of illegal aliens while trying to take away rights of the citizens of the United States.
I think it’s funny that Rush says he wants Obama to fail. So do I. I believe that Obama is going to turn this country away from it’s capitalist foundation and make it a socialist country. I don’t want that. I would benefit greatly from Obama’s plan. I’m not rich. I’m a minority. I hit just about every target that the left is trying to hit and I’m not for any of this. This is not the way the founding fathers wanted it to be.
You know the left can say that they are against war but for the troops. Why can’t we say that we are for this country to prosper, yet be against Obama? The people are suffering, yet the White House has had regular Wednesday Night parties with the likes of Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind and Fire performing and hundred dollar pieces of steak being served. Thank God for Baxter’s five dollar menu because I couldn’t afford steak any other way, (BTW it’s a great special, go check it out).
If one is going to be critical of a certain view, then that person show also be tolerant of views that are critical of their own views. The people who have been jumping down Rush’s throat, while acting holier and more sanctimonious than other, are the same one’s that who spew hate filled speech against their opponents. From Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi to the members of punk band NOFX, the amount of hate and wish of failure and in some cases death of the former President was and still is incredible. At least, Rush didn’t say we wished Obama dead, which has been said plenty of times by the left.
Disagree if you want. State your own position and defend it. Just don’t spill out hate speech and get upset at others when they pose their views and at least have some kind of logical argument for it. There was no hatful words. No wishing of death, embarrassment, or use of belittling words. Just a person who stated his views, and at least could logically defend them. If the left could do that without for example, having a Chris Matthews say ‘Oh God” when Louisiana Governor came out to do the republican response to Obama addressing the full congress or without have Joy Behar saying how Rush was fat, (as if that had anything to do with his opinions), then maybe this country might be able to really have political discussions that might mean something.
