Time For Some Nice Weather And Good Local Music

What’s up dudes,

The weather is getting nice and you knows what that means right?  Lots of opportunities to see some of your local favorite bands outside of the regular bar scene.

A lot of people have a love for live music, local or national.  They don’t care, they want to see some band under an open sky, while the sun is shining and the bird are being drown out by the sound of rock and roll.  We love to hear the music float on the crisp warm air.  Nothing is better.  Here are three places that are going to be some cool places to watch some local bands kick ass this spring/summer.

-         The Beach – Every time the weather gets warm, the beach comes alive with the sounds of music.  Take you pick, either on the strip with Beach Street USA performers or on the various stages that face the beach.

-         Town Point Park – Every year, starting with Harborfest, Festevents allows plenty of local bands the chance to perform on state in downtown Norfolk.  With the remolding of Waterside, this is going to allow bands an even more beautiful setting for the good people of Hampton Roads to enjoy their music.

-         Newport News hold concerts one a week through out the summer in the town center located off Jefferson Avenue.

There are other places all over Hampton Roads that involve local music to help celebrate whatever it is they are celebrating.  Make sure you check out Hampton Roads.com or Pilotonline.com to see what is going on and make sure that you enjoy all the fine tunes that our local musicians will be playing, both in under the clear blue skies or the star filled nights.  Hampton Roads bands are going to come alive this summer.

There’s definitely something about enjoying music outdoors that makes it that much better. One of my favorite memories from last summer ws seeing the Influence at Town Point Park. AMF and ECSC at the beach are always sure to be a great time. Can’t wait!
