KRS-ONE Speaks to You Up Close

If you had the chance to hear KRS-ONE, the hip-hop teacher,

The man, the legend
spittin’ science at a lecture about…well hip-hop of course, and you still didn’t immediately drop your 40 oz and jump at the opportunity to make good on this rare chance to see him like, 10 feet from your freakin’ head, then I’m afraid that the hip-hop culture just might have to look down on you a little bit. In my personal opinion, you’d have to be retarded to miss out on this one. (Not tryin’ to start any beefs with the… um… “mentally imbalanced” or nothing like that but come on man, it’s KRS-ONE like, in your classroom or something!)
The first 100 ODU students that come to this thing get free admission to the KRS-ONE concert that takes place the following day, and everybody attending that concert will get to see what happens to hip-hop when it just simply don’t never sell out.
But if that ain’t enough–and it damned well enough should be–then maybe you’ll show up to rep your support for the local artist. (Cause GOD knows they could use it.) I, myself, as one of the artist who’ll be performing before the lecture to open up for the feature, would feel a little bit more optimistic about the state of this local scene if people didn’t punk out and actually showed up for this, because it’s gonna be one hell of a bang, even if me and KRS-ONE have to do it all by our damned selves! So y’all come the hell out and support it man!
