Last Night’s Lightning Storm

A storm rolls north,

skirting around us in downtown Norfolk. Before the oncoming, thunderous cloud are the Dominion Enterprise building, the weather vane atop Bodega, the Regent University billboard atop 435 Monticello, and the rising Wachovia Center, from which orange sparks from a welder’s work fell into the night below.
