There’s a sweet reason to be proud of Carolina Cupcakery, “Hampton Roads’ Original Cupcake Bakery.”
Recently voted Pilot’s “Best of,” the bakery’s mother-daughter duo took part in The Food Network’s famous “Cupcake Wars” last spring.
Their episode is a special one, too. The network waited to air the Carolina Cupcakery episode as the finale of the season.
“Due to some crazy events that occurred during taping, the show we’re featured in has been saved for the season’s grand finale,” Cupcakery owner Dawn Eskins told us.
You can catch Dawn and her daughter Kyndall on the show this Sunday, September 11th at 8 p.m. on The Food Network. The episode airs again on Tuesday, September 13th, when Carolina Cupcakery will hold a viewing party at their location in Old Dominion University’s Webb Center. A student baking challenge and free cupcakes add even more icing to the evening, if you will.
“Make sure you don’t miss it,” Dawn said. “There’s never been an episode like this one.”
