Call for Food Section Interns

Give me your foodies, your locavores, your culinarily conscious!

Are you concerned with where your food comes from and how it got to your plate? Have you ever planned what you’ll have for dinner while you were still eating your lunch? Do you like eating in restaurants and attending food events? And do you have an interest in writing, editing, and developing a growing editorial section at AltDaily?

Then you should consider becoming an AltDaily Food intern!

As a food intern, you will work with the food editor on writing, editing, publishing, and soliciting articles; fact-checking; research; social media; launching a cooking show; working with editors-in-chief, and, of course, eating.

Unfortunately, this internship is unpaid, but we will work with you on gaining college credit. The number of hours per week is flexible, but my goal is for the intern to work 20 hours per week.

To apply:
Please email Dana with the following:
-          A brief description of your dream job
-          A brief description of the best meal you ever ate
-          A few lines about why you want to work with AltDaily
-          Tell me something that makes you interesting
-          Your availability
