Bill Speidel is our local seersucker suit wearing, swing dancing foodie and vintage musicologist who’s DJed swing and blues dances nationally as far away as Florida, Las Vegas , Seattle and Quebec City. Bill is also the organizer of Norfolk’s monthly Southside Stomp Swing Social at The Mambo Room. He’s served as President of the Cromwell Farm Civic League and is a registered landscape architect with a degree in urban design and planning. If you somehow can’t pick him out of the crowd by his vintage ties, he’ll be the one drinking the sazerac cocktail and critiquing the food, décor, and the music playing in the background.
